Subsequently, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Kansas State University and Rice University. &nbsp;He is currently an Associate Professor of Chemistry at The University of Texas at El Paso and was previously a faculty member at Clemson University (Research Scientist) and University of Toledo (Research Asst. Professor). His research interest is in two-dimensional quantum materials.
