Dr. Sree received his BS and MS in Chemistry from Mahatma Gandhi University\u00a0and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Subsequently, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Kansas State University and Rice University. \u00a0He is currently an\u00a0Assistant Professor of Chemistry at The\u00a0University of Texas at El Paso and was previously a faculty member at \u00a0Clemson University (Research Scientist, CU-ICAR) and University of Toledo (Research Assistant Professor, Polymer Institute).\u00a0He and his group members are interested in two-dimensional quantum materials and their physicochemical modifications to develop unique quantum structures. In addition to probing the fundamental properties, his lab also applies quantum structures with engineered properties for\u00a0electronics, energy, sensing, and biomedical\u00a0applications.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
