Principal Investigator
Sreeprasad Sreenivasan received his BS and MS in Chemistry from Mahatma Gandhi University and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Subsequently, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Kansas State University and Rice University. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at The University of Texas at El Paso and was previously a faculty member at Clemson University (Research Scientist) and University of Toledo (Research Asst. Professor). His research interest is in two-dimensional quantum materials. In addition to probing the fundamental properties, his lab also applies quantum structures with engineered properties for electronics, energy, sensing, and biomedical applications.
